Since May 2016, I've been Head of Media Partnerships for book discovery platform Bookwitty, based out of London. I've involved with the project since the beginning through my work with Keeward (which is part of the same group).
Bookwitty is a new way to discover books through the stories, ideas and subjects that matter to you. We are multicultural and multilingual, and aim to make access to books easier around the world with free shipping anywhere. It brings together editorial content, community content, and a massive catalogue of books to redefine how we discover and recommend books. If you think the way we currently find books online as a bit of a supermarket, we're aiming to feel a bit more like spending an hour in your favourite bookshop.
We work with a community of authors, book lovers, publishers big & small, and local bookstores all around the world. We've sold 10 million books in 149 countries since 2010, and we're looking to create the largest community of book lovers in the world.
Our team of 200 people works out of offices in New York, Montreal, Dublin, Paris, Brussels, Nice, Arles, London and Beirut.
